There are two main types: electrolytic copper (EL) and phosphorous copper (PH copper), which are optimized for different electrolytic baths.
Electrolytic copper (EL)
EL copper is suitable for cyanide-based electrolytic baths that produce uniform and shiny copper layers. It has a copper content of at least 99.99% and is available as cathodes in all dimensions that can be customized and provided with holes. Other forms are squares, ECU strips and clippings.
Phosphorous copper (PH)
PH copper is optimized for sulfuric acid electrolytic baths with copper sulfate as the main component and contains at least 99.9% copper and 0.04 – 0.06% phosphorus. It is available as flat anodes in all dimensions, tailor-made and provided with holes, as well as billet anodes in various shapes. Other shapes are squares and clippings.
In our in-house production we have the option of cutting anode plates according to your wishes and providing them with holes.

Copper Cathodes
Our Copper Plates EL with a purity of over 99.99% are obtained through electrolysis and are ideal as anodes for electrolytic deposits in cyanide copper baths.
The Copper Cathodes are available in various commercially available sizes and can be cut to your specific dimensions in our in-house production and provided with holes for suspension.

Copper EL Clippings
Our Copper EL Clippings are ideal for cyanide-based electrolyte baths that are intended to produce uniform and shiny copper layers. The copper wire sections (EL) are of the highest quality with a purity of at least 99.99% Cu. Thanks to their round shape and small dimensions of 12×20 mm, they slide perfectly into anode baskets and ensure a more uniform deposition. They also have a larger surface area.
The copper clippings are available in 10 kg bags or 25 kg buckets – we are also happy to accommodate alternative packaging requests.

Copper ECU Strips
Our ECU Strips were developed to achieve even better distribution and greater bulk density in anode baskets. The EL copper anodes are especially suitable for cyanide-based copper baths and, with a purity of at least 99.99%, represent the highest quality. They are also a cheap alternative to the tried and tested copper wire sections.
We supply the copper ECU strips in the format 12×25 mm in 10 kg bags and 25 kg PE buckets – also in other packaging sizes.

Copper PH Plates

These phosphorus-containing copper plates consist of at least 99.9% copper and contain 0.04 – 0.06% phosphorus. The flat anodes made of copper (PH) are available in standard sizes or can be cut to your desired size in our in-house production and provided with a hole for hanging on the busbar.

Copper PH Bars
We supply PH Copper Billets, also known as a copper anode or copper PH bar. They are made of phosphorus-alloyed copper with at least 99.9% copper and 0.04 – 0.06% phosphorus. The copper anodes are optimised for use in sulphuric acid electrolyte baths based on copper sulphate and offer a larger surface area than plate anodes, resulting in more efficient deposition.
Available in various sizes and shapes, they can be fitted with threaded holes or pressed-on copper hooks.
